A very attractive grey-black species that is eye-catching for its rarity. A species that grows wild from the Himalayas to Tibet, it dislikes heat and grows well in cold regions, but in areas with hot summers, it prefers a cool, well-ventilated, semi-shaded location. After flowering, it will bloom repeatedly if pruned heavily. Flower diameter: approx. 3cm.
