The flowers are a velvety deep reddish purple, and depending on the light they can appear blackish.
As their name suggests, the chic flower color is very attractive.
The deep color of the first blooms is particularly beautiful.
In a sunny location, the reddish velvety texture stands out, but in a slightly shady location the black color seems stronger.
The petals are slightly wavy and curved inwards when they first bloom, and then gradually unfold. The changing appearance is dramatic.
